NEVER LET ANYONE MAKE YOU SAY CHEEZE!
1800 square feet is bigger than you’d think when you have to paint all of it! Vickie, my Business / Studio Manager and I worked for 2 months to get the place finished and running.

So my buddy Jeff drops by a couple of weeks ago and we get to talking over a case of beer.
Jeff is a writer and loves a great argument. We tend to go off on strange tangents, and this time was no different.
We were discussing the word masturbation, as it relates to the concept of self-gratification, and all the ways that applies to life.
As the conversation went on, we stumbled onto the topic of talking to oneself, as we both practice that habit regularly. We decided that talking to yourself is a form of masterbation, or self gratification, and after some more exploration, I came up with the term self-debating.
Later he mentioned he saw an image created using some compositing techniques and challenged me to make something for him to post to a forum he talks on. Using the theme of self-debating, and knowing him as well as I do, I came up with the image at the top of this entry…
Jeff, self-debating.
Here is an animation I constructed showing all the images from that shoot.
The FYI mediaworld logo has been upgraded to align with my signature on my fine art salon prints.
I LOVE IT!, and I know you will too! It’s cleaner, simpler, more recognizable, easier to see and remember.
I have been working on this for awhile, and I am really pleased with the results. It keeps the same basic graphic elements to maintain a continuity and connection with the previous logo, but it looks like an evolution, which is really cool.
So, I debuted my jazz print series to the public this weekend at the Rainbows End Natural Foods Restaurant 1100 E. Sahara AveI’ve been working on this series of prints since I got to Las Vegas last year.
I love jazz and this is a series of stylized, intimate photographs taken in the current underground jazz scene here in Vegas.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with some of the great players that worked here backing up some of the most famous names in music.
If you live in town, or even just visiting, drop into the restaurant, they have great food, and have a look at the pieces. You may just end up buying one or two.
