am the child of Hungarian immigrants, born in Toronto
in the mid-1960's and raised in an environment rich
in culture, entertainment, music, art, and sports. By
the age of 17, I was working as a professional drummer,
playing and recording street punk, hard rock and progressive
jazz. In my mid 30's, I had moved on to photography,
more fascinated with expressing the look and lifestyle
of the new era.
influences of my past lives in the street punk, hard
rock and progressive jazz scenes continue to inform
my photographic style with elegance, quirkiness and
love the collaborative process in storytelling and the
determination needed to overcome the challenges of creating
the visual playgrounds that tell those stories. The
joy I feel in successfully coordinating a production
team and inspiring the talent to express themselves
towards a common goal has no words.
